The 10th of March was my 22nd birthday ...
& mothers day!! Which I loved <3
The thought of turning 22 was actually quite depressing. 21 is a such a big age and you expect so much from it but really it's just another year in your life. I have to say I did enjoy being 21, it was definitely a good year. I got with my boyfriend, moved into the nicest flat in Preston rekindled some old friendships. There was some downsides to being 21 as well I guess. Living with the weirdest strangest, most childish person I have ever met, entered my last year of university, spending months away from tom at any one time with living in different cities, loosing friendships...
But turning 22 has it's advantages .. I will finally get my degree, moving back to Manchester getting a job and actually having my own money after three years of being in my overdraft.
& so here is where I tell you how I brought in my 22nd year. I have to say it was quite a good weekend :)
Friday night we went to a club in Manchester & basically just got drunk & danced the night away with some of my favourite people in the entire world.
Saturday I spent recovering and just chilling with my mum & Max <3
& then Sunday was my favourite !!
My brother, his girlfriend, my mother and I went to see the Lion king at the palace theatre. Yes it was my second time seeing it (I went with Stacey for her birthday in December) but that opening scene brought me (& my mother) to tears once again. I would recommend anyone to go watch it (& take me with you!), it's bloody brilliant!
We then went to a place called Samsi & it's an amazing Japanese restaurant. Heaven.
It then started snowing!! It's never snowed on my birthday before which was weird!
I then spent the night on the couch with tom cuddling, drinking wine and just watching the world go by :)
